At a meeting held at the Chinese Chamber of Commerce yesterday

boon, at which addresses on at diseases were delivered by Dr. Rupert Hallam and Mrs Rolfe, both of the Commission now here.t the following resolutions were un- [animously carried: (1) That steps will be taken by the Chinese to en- able every person suffering from venereal disease to obtain the bene- fit of modern methods of treate ment; (2) An educational campaign. will be conducted with a view to exterminating the disease; (3) The Chamber of Commerce will co- operate with the Government LA lengthy report of the meeting has been submitted to us,. but in deference to the wishes of the Government we publish only a summary.
